2012 Election Information

The Big Picture. August 17, 2010

It is very obvious that Barack Obama and his lame crew do not have any vision for the future and if they do it is a very damaged understanding of what is really going to happen.  This video has the vision of what will really happen in the future.

Please watch and comment. I will accept reasonable, intelligent comments either in favor or not in favor. I will consider “flames” as junk and will not accept those comments.

Barack Obama’s Destructive Business Agenda July 13, 2010

So today I went to go to my favorite Sabarro Pizza at

1731 N VICTORY PLACE

BUILDING R9

BURBANK, CA 91506

This is what I found.

So what happened here? To be honest I really don’t know.

I do know that Sabarro is a franchise organization.

So why did it close?

1. Land lord raised the rent beyond what the restaurant could sustain.

2. Franchisee was a bad business person and did not run the store properly.

3. Business was just down and could not survive.

4. Local business taxes were to high.

4. All of the above.

Here are the things that I do know that happened.

1. A franchisee lost his/her livelihood and business dream.

2. A given number of people lost their jobs.

3. A great number of future jobs were lost. (Unless the landlord is lucky enough to lease the space to another business.)

4. Loss of future jobs for High School Students or potential future Sabarro franchisees that would have been working there.

5. Loss of sales tax revenue for the City of Burbank, CA

6. Loss of sales tax revenue for the County of Los Angeles.

7. Loss of sales tax revenue for the State of California.

8. Loss of revenue for the food purveyors that supplied the food products that were served.

9. Loss of federal income tax collected from the owner and employees.

10. Loss of Medicare tax collected from the owner and employees.

11. Loss of California State Income tax from the owner and employees.

Ok so here is my point. Barack Obama wants people to think that everything is getting better. Tell that to all the people and their families that lost their job at this Sabarro and all the other business that continue to close everyday. Are new businesses opening up? Of course, But it is safe to say that more businesses are closing than opening.

In the meantime Barack Obama focuses on pissing away tax payer dollars for things like lawsuits against Arizona SB 1070 instead of concentrating  on bolstering small business and creating new jobs.

An Open Letter to Congressman Adam Schiff (D) (Congressional District number 29 of California) Sent 12/20/09 December 20, 2009

Dear Congressman Schiff.

I am 59 years old and I have health insurance. It is expensive. But I am very happy with it. Will I be able to keep it? Maybe. But I know that if I keep it I will be taxed because I have a “Cadillac Plan” and I will be penalized with a tax because I am considered a “Rich Bastard” because I can afford healthcare insurance.

I am so disappointed in the Marxist Socialist Democratic Party. The United States is now a single central party system just like in Communist countries. The way that the MSDR has bought off the votes of Senators is unprecedented in US History. Being originally from Chicago I have grown up with corrupt Democratic Party procedures. These corrupt policies are what Barack Obama brought to the White House from Chicago.

I’m sure you will be an idiot and vote for this train wreck of a healthcare bill that no one, not event the people voting for this know what is all in the bill because is was written by lay people who have no idea what the people of the United States care about. This is a blatant disregard of the of the desires of the citizens of the United States of America. This is legislation that should have been a bipartisan effort instead of being created behind closed doors, excluding Republicans and Independents. You know this was morally wrong and is not Constitutional. If this passes there will be people in office that will be convicted of treason and put in jail. I will join every effort to see that this happens. In any event because you never spoke out against this bill you will be considered in this movement. Is this a threat….No. Is it a fact? You will have to wait and see depending on how your vote. It won’t be me starting this movement but when it happens I will support it.

The fact that you even support the disgusting Nancy Pelosi and the Pelosians is just appalling. Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstien Et. al. and the SEIU have all but ruined this state of California. Companies are closing and moving from this state in large numbers. The reasons: Excruciating high taxes, crippling EPA restrictions and the corrupt SEIU stranglehold on business in this State. This state will never recover until it is run by any other party except for the Marxist Socialist Democratic Party.

Here is the fact that you have to go to sleep with tonight. “The problem with Marxist Socialist Entitlement Programs is that you eventually run out of OTHER peoples money.”

P.S. Ditto on all of this for “CAP AND TAX.” This is another MSDP train wreck. If you think there is unemployment now wait till businesses get hit with “Emission Taxes.” If you vote for this train wreck of a bill and create “Energy Credits” what do you think will happen? Who will create, trade and control energy credits that are the same as money? Wall Street. Do you thing the corrupt US Government will be allowed to control “Energy Credits.” This will then make the United States officially a Communist Country because the US Government will control everything that that happens in The United States. I want you to vote against any kind of CAP and TAX legislation.

In any event no matter what you do: “YOU ARE FIRED.”

Don’t bother to respond to this unless you say “I agree and I will vote against both the Health Care and the Cap and Tax Train wrecks.” If I get a response from you saying anything else I will consider it a “Canned Response” showing that you do not care about what the the Citizens of the United States really want.

I don’t think anyone could have said this better! (An E-Mail forwarded to me.) 12/1/09 December 1, 2009

I don’t think anyone could have said

this better!

Robert A. Hall

“I’m  Tired”  by Robert A. Hall

I’ll be 63 soon
. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce, and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m  tired
of being told that I have to “spread the wealth around” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy or stupid to earn it.

I’m  tired
of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.”  Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing  to help. But if  they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off,  $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own  money.

I’m  tired
of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros, and Hollywood entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the  economy of Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Christian people of Iran, and the freedom of speech of Venezuela. Won’t multiculturalism be beautiful?

I’m  tired
of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.

I  believe
” a man should be judged by the content of his character, not by the color of  his skin.” I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for  the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children  that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of US Senators from Illinois.

I  think
it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the emancipation proclamation. I just wish the black president was  Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I’m  tired
of a news media that thinks Bush’s fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama’s, at triple the cost, were wonderful;  that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of  presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush’s military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his, that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn’t vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I’m  tired
of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue, or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I’m  tired
of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global`warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom  apartment and carpool together five miles to our  jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and  granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green  enough.

I’m  tired
of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant  germ rush out  of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white  powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I  don’t think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never  tried marijuana.

I’m  tired
of  illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime.  What’s  next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”?  And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to  kill me for my religion.  I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three  years in our military…. Those are the citizens we need.

I’m  tired
of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the` uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a  recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and  bad mouth better people than themselves. Do  bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave?  Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims  who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian.  Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I’m  tired
of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship.  I live in Illinois , where the ” Illinois Combine” of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet as  well.

I’m  tired
of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers, and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I’m tired
of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and  two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty  pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I’m  real tired
of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and  actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes,  I’m damn tired
. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have  to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter.

The Cloward Piven Strategy 11/22/09 Updated 12/13/09 November 22, 2009

OK so what is The Cloward Piven Strategy?

Let’s start with this explanation.

Today Senator Harry Reid continues to ignore the wishes of the majority of  the citizens in the United States by pushing and getting 60 votes to start the discussion on a very, very bad healthcare bill that is unsustainable in monetary support with any amount of taxes collected or seized.

Here is: H.R. 3962 that was Passed 60 to 39 to move forward for debate.

If H.R. 3962 gets passed it will  be the beginning of the collapse of our economy. This is far worse than any Global Warming Ponzi Scheme that Al Gore is running. As outlined in Cloward Piven Obama Care is the first step of many to implement the Cloward Piven Strategy.

Here is a definition of the Cloward Piven Strategy from Wikipedia.

Cloward Piven Strategy

Richard A. Cloward

Frances Fox Piven

Democratic Socialists of America

Time for you to do some homework and research to be more informed about what I am writing about.

OK so let’s talk about these people: Barack Obama, Saul Alinsky, Richard A. Cloward, and his wife Frances Fox Piven.

Saul Alinsky

“Alinsky’s teachings influenced Barack Obama in his early career as a community organizer on the far South Side of Chicago.[7][8] Working for Gerald Kellman’s Developing Communities Project, Obama learned and taught Alinsky’s methods for community organizing.[7][9] Several prominent national leaders have been influenced by Alinsky’s teachings,[7] including Ed Chambers,[5] Tom Gaudette,Michael GecanWade Rathke,[10][11], and Patrick Crowley.[12]

Saul Alinsky wrote two books.

Reveille for Radicals

and

Rules for Radicals

Saul Alinsky wrote this:

“What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. ‘The Prince’ was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. ‘Rules for Radicals’ is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.”

So how does this all tie together? As you all know Barack Obama was greatly influenced by Saul Alinsky in addition to Frank Marshall Davis.

Both of these gentleman were radical socialists and in the case of Frank Marshal Davis had connections to the CPUSA (Communist Party United States of America.)

As you have figured out by now that Barack Obama is the most radical president that has ever been elected to office.  This becomes obvious in his callous disregard for the Constitution of the United States of America.  The idea that Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd and Barney Franks all say that the citizens of the United States have the “RIGHT” to government provided health care proves that quite blatantly.

If you can find anywhere in the US Constitution where Citizens of the United States of America have the RIGHT to healthcare please let me know so I can post it here.

As these government programs like the “Public Health Care Plan” and “Cap and Tax’ are pushed into law and forced unwillingly down the throats of the citizens of the United States of America, It starts to become evident that these programs are unsustainable with any amount of taxes that will be collected. As the huge numbers of less fortunate people in this country start to TAKE from the system more than they GIVE to the system you can see how this will start to collapse the financial structure of the US Federal Government subsequent imploding the US Economy.  The implosion will take place as the US Debt becomes so big that there is no way to ever repay it.  As the dollar collapses we will not longer be able to sell our debt to countries like China as they will deem the US Dollar as worthless. When the US Dollar becomes worthless that is a classic case of bankruptcy.  As Taxes and Penalties are demanded  and collected buy the Socialist government, it becomes very apparent how the Capitalist Free Enterprise System of the United States will collapse and become non existent due to the high costs of doing business and being able to compete with a Government run entity that may include everything from health care to “Green Manufacturing of Government Designed and Mandated Automobiles.”

As private capitalist enterprise starts to deteriorate the Central Socialist Plutocratic Party Government will start to take over and create a One Plutocratic Party System (A Marxist Socialist Party) that looks a lot like a Communist Society will start to emerge.

Classic Marxism

As you do your homework  on the Cloward Piven Strategy, it will become quite evident on the path that this The Untied States of America is headed in. It is so difficult to believe that the “Lamestream Media” refuses to report on this.

12/13/09  Today the Socialist Democrats jammed a 1.1 TRILLION dollar budget down the throats of the citizens of the United States. This is the first of many unsustainable budgets to be passed further deteriorating the quality of life for generations to come. This is the Cloward Piven Strategy in action.  Not only are people out of work and not paying taxes, but more and more jobs will be lost and there will be no amount of taxes that can be collected to ever repay this debt.  So what does that mean? Well seeing as how the government can not declare bankruptcy the Fed will print more money thus devaluating the dollar even more. In turn this will lower the quality of life in this country to 3rd world standards.  There will ultimately be three classes of people.

Proletariat,

Petite Bourgeoisie,

Plutocrats

As proletariats we will own nothing.  We will work for the government (Central Plutocratic Party System) and the government will provide everything the Central Plutocratic Party System determines what we our needs are inorder to be productive and Support the Central Plutocratic Party System.

The Petite Bourgeoisie will be the Modest Small Business people that will provide the support for the Central Party System.

We now start to see the difference between a FREE MARKET SYSTEM and what we thought as CAPITALISM.

In a FREE MARKET SYSTEM we are allowed to Create and Save income to improve our lives and quality of life.

In a CAPITALIST system we are controlled by the Central Plutocratic Party system seen in the graphic above.  When we are controlled by the Central Plutocratic Party System we are not allowed to improve our own quality of life, rather we are mandated in improving the Quality of life and existence of the Central Plutocratic Party System.

At this time the only thing that will stop this from occurring is reducing and eventually dissolving  the Democratic Socialist Party from ever running again for office in the United States.

The only way this country can be saved is with a two party system consisting of the Republican Party and the Libertarian Party or possible the Tea Party if it becomes a certified Political Party.

It is now up to you how you will vote in 2010 and 2012.

“Don’t Share My Wealth, Share My Work Ethic.” October 18, 2009

Today was one of those days were things didn’t go as planned with work.  Tomorrow is another new day and things will be better. In the mean time it got me to thinking about what I’m going to do with the rest of my life at 59 years old. I have to admit that work as a freelancer has been good to me over the past 12 years and continues to roll right a long.

But there are times that I would just like to quite, pick up my still camera, get in my car and just see all there is to see int the beautiful rural parts of the USA and take a lot of pictures that would make people smile. People spend millions of dollars to go see other countries when most haven’t even explored what the good ole’ USA has to offer.

However, there is a problem with that thought.  In particular it is the problem of uncertainty that Barack Obama brings to the table.

Barack Obama is very concerned with taking my hard earned savings, eating away at it with taxes and giving it to people that do not have the work ethic that I have cultured over the years. All kind of taxes on companies that would drive the costs of retirement to a very uncomfortable place.

Barack Obama would rather concentrate on having a green country with people that have low cost or free healthcare that is very bad in quality instead of having a healthy economy. An economy where people have a strong work ethic and do not rely on the federal government stealing from hard working people and giving it away to slackers for free. When people are working, crime goes down, tax revenues at all levels of local, county, state and federal government goes up.

I came up with the topic of my blog from a picture from the blog linked below. I want to thank that person for posting these pictures as they are a snapshot of what people in the country are really thinking. The Tea Party was a small movement at first but as soon as people see the errors in waste that big government is taking our hard earned money for, they begin to see the light.  A some people have said, “A sleeping giant has been awakened.”

A Tea Party Greets Obama in San Francisco.

Share work Ethic

A lot of my friends have said. “WAIT,  He has only been if office for 9 months.”  Well ya know I don’t have a lot of time. By the time Obama gets thrown out of office I will be 62 and I still will not have the confidence to retire.

There is a chance of redemption that in 2010 a significant number of senate seats that will go to Republicans and I hope Libertarians.  It seems that the most corrupt people are in the Senate. If the people vote to cripple the Democratic Senate then we can reduce Barack Obama to the lame duck president that he was even before he was elected.

I really think that this sold be the new mantra for 2009:

“DON’T SHARE MY WEALTH, SHARE MY WORK ETHIC.”

Let’s see if we can make this work.

Barack Obama’s Cap and Tax Passed By The House Today 6/26/09 ‘‘American Clean Energy And Security Act Of 2009’’ H.R. 2454 (Updated 7/14/09) June 28, 2009

waxman-markey_6-28-09

Source:

http://energycommerce.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1697:house-passes-historic-waxman-markey-clean-energy-bill&catid=155:statements&Itemid=55

Today is the saddest day in the history of the United States.  Again Barack Obama has driven yet another nail in the coffin containing manufacturing in the United States. Cap and Tax will artificially and dramatically drive up the cost of energy in the United States. This is yet another artificial manipulation of the free market as we know it. I have been writing about Bill Clinton’s 1997 expansion of Jimmy Carter’s 1977 Community Reinvestment Act. When Bill Clinton mandated this, it artificially infused millions of unqualified home owners into the home buying market. You can see today what that did to our economy.

https://stmarie.wordpress.com/2008/09/29/everyday-we-learn-more-about-the-community-reinvestment-act-of-1977/

Barack Obama’s Cap and Tax will artificially affect the supply and demand of energy,  energy prices, taxes and the newly created “Energy Credits.”

Let’s face it. There are some manufacturing processes that require a lot of electricity, less than green chemical ingredients, and will use more “Energy Credits” than allocated to that company. The amount of  “Energy Credits” that some politician that does not have a degree in chemistry or an MBA will determine that company will have.

So what happens here?’

Well the very first thing that comes to mind is this video of Barack Obama.

OK so now that this CAP and TAX has passed the house but not the senate. How will this affect the coal industry and the coal mines? Well I wrote about this topic on November 3, 2008.

https://stmarie.wordpress.com/2008/11/03/barack-obama-and-the-bankrupt-coal-industry/

Again I did not see good things about Barack Obama then and I have no faith in his credibility today

I finally found the “CAP and TAX” bill on line HR 2454

American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (Engrossed as Agreed to or Passed by House)

This bill is so convoluted and complicated it is almost incomprehensible by the average home or business owner.

Also reading this it will require a huge amount of federal employees to enforce the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 H.R. 2454. Just a huge waste of tax payer dollars that will benefit the politicians way more than either the environment or the owners of businesses, residential houses, or factories.

OK so let’s all read this and see if you can make an “INTELLIGENT” decision on passing this tax assuming you know all the fact, figures, demographics of impact, caluculations of real results in say two years.

Please search for American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 H.R. 2454.EH in the Library of Congress Thomas

SEC. 204. BUILDING ENERGY PERFORMANCE LABELING PROGRAM. (Sec 204 (C) (3) (B) Residential Databases

    (B) RESIDENTIAL DATABASES- The Administrator, in consultation with the Energy Information Administration and the Secretary of Energy, shall support improvements to the Residential Energy Consumption Survey (RECS) as authorized by section 205(k) of the Department of Energy Organization Act (42 U.S.C. 7135(k)), or such other residential energy performance databases as the Administrator considers appropriate, to aid the development of achieved performance measurement protocols for residential building energy use for at least 90 percent of the residential market within 5 years after the date of enactment of this Act.

Resnet (Residential Energy Services Network)

So what is this? Well it is an invasion of privacy. In a nut shell you will have to have your home inspected, probed, prodded and exposed to see if it meets Resnet specifications within 5 years of this act being passed.

There are three things I cannot determine here.

1. Is there is going to be a fine or legal proceedings if you do not get your house inspected?

2. Will you have to have your house inspected and brought up to RESNET certification before it is sold?

3. Will there be an “Energy Tax, Fine, or Penalty” imposed until the house in question is upgraded to meet either additional federal standards that have not been written yet or to RESNET specifications?

It is obvious by these AOL polls that the majority of people do not want this bill to pass.

Update to the AOL 7/10/09 Poll

obama_poll_002_7-10-09

Here is an update to an AOL Poll from 6/26/09 It still looks like people do not want a Cap and Tax Law. It appears that the Democratic party is not carrying out the will of the people. Rather the Democrats are executing their own agenda regardless of what the people want that voted for them in the first place.

obama_poll_013_6-28-09

It becomes very obvious that even with this small sample that the public has no desire to have this really bad legislation forced down their throats. In future days I will update this with new results of more votersof this poll until it drops off.

When the public talked about George Bush Jr being out of touch with the public, his lack of connection is paled by the disconnect between the people of this country and the socialist government that is running the country now. It would appear that the only people that want the “CAP AND TAX” legislation passed are Al Gore, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosie, Barney Franks, Harry Reid, Rep. Henry A. Waxman, Rep. Edward J. Markey et al. So this boils down to “CAP AND TAX” legislation that is a personal mission by the formentioned people and is not “What the people of the United States want”

To me when a government decides what is best for the citizens of the United Sates is a not a government, it is a

Dictatorship of the Proletariat.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dictatorship_of_the_proletariat

So lets look at all the things that this will affect. Basically any industry that uses electricity, coal or fossil fuel such as gasoline, diesel, or natural gas.  Hmm it seems that every company and citizen will be affected by this “CAP AND TAX” legislation. It would appear that H. R. 2454 will create financial chaos in this country.

One of the things that it will create are “Energy Credits.”  The question is who will control, disperse and manage the “Evergy Credits”?

1. Will it be Wall Street? Will “Energy Credits” be a commodity that is bought and sold on the commodities market?

This could be problematic as we have seen with Crude Oil and the buying and selling of Crude Oil futures by speculative investors based on Supply and Demand. This could have a significant impact on the cost of running a business and the everyday lives of US citizens.

2, Will it be a huge socialist government bureaucracy  that will practice “Pay to Play” tactics to control “Energy Credits” by legal taxes and illegal political contributions.  We all know how this game is played. The more money you put in the socialist government coffers, the more “Extra” “Energy Credits” you are allowed for your business or special interest group like for example the UAW for American and American automobile manufacturers only.

The truth is that no one on the face of the earth can guess how much more this is going to cost the tax payer, business owner or anyone else in this country.

Yesterday I took a little drive and I ended up in Santa Paula, CA  I parked my car, and began to look around at the demographics of what I saw on the street. This town is predominately Hispanic that votes for the socialist democrats based on the promise of Amnesty and the growth of the Farm Workers Union.  In general these people are of low income and are having a tough time paying daily bills.  If  “CAP and TAX” passes these are the people that will be affected the most with increased costs on electricity, food and gasoline for their cars to get to and from work. This may be exacerbated by job loss when companies shutter their doors as cost of doing business forces the owners to either shut down and move their businesses off shore. In the case of the farmers, instead of growing food they may turn to importing food instead.

As for the petroleum industry, they hands are tied as they are now and will not be allowed to drill for more crude oil as this will, in the eyes of the democrats, “Contribute to Global Warming.” So this industry may run into problems as they will not be able to afford to pay for “Energy Credits” and pass the costs down to the consumer.

Remember petroleum is not just about heating oil (yet another discussion on the effects of H. R. 2454 on the economy), gasoline, diesel fuel (trucking and rail industry),  and  Jet A fuel (Airlines) it is about plastics (Did you think about that?) also.  These are all things that will be sharply affected by H. R. 2454.  Do you now see how damaging this “CAP and TAX” bill will be?

Santa Paula, California has two basic industries:  Farming agriculture and petroleum.

http://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&oe=UTF-8&ie=UTF8&q=farms+santa+paula,+ca&fb=1&split=1&gl=us&view=map&ei=L7VHSp6GHJDMNYbtuKwB&cd=1&hl=en

So I sat and thought of the impact of H.R. 2454.

Farming uses a lot of fossil fuel for trucks, tractors and farming equipment in general.  My next thought was that solar, electric or wind power can not be used for the aforementioned vehicles.  Battery powered electric trucks, tractors, cultivators, generators and irrigation pumps.  How can you possibly make this green?  OK maybe Natural Compressed Gas (NCG) but it is way more dangerous and difficult to transport as it always has to me in high pressure tanks.

Farming also uses a lot of electricity in packing and processing.  Lot’s of refrigeration for freshness and freezing foods.

So what happens to food prices if  these farming and food processing companies exceed their “Energy Caps”?

These companies will have to buy addition energy credits if the processing plants do not  become solar or wind powered.

Solution? Nuclear powered food packing plants.  Hmm.  Now that sounds safe.

Now let’s look at petroleum.

The argument for “CAP and TAX” is to create new jobs and eliminate out dependance on foreign oil.

So if petroleum is a bad thing because of carbon pollution and the utopian goal is to eliminate it all together then what happens to the petroleum industry in Santa Paula. CA? How many jobs will be lost because the Dictatorship of the Proletariat deemed that the petroleum industry was bad for the earth?

So once the windmills are built and the solar panel farms are built. Just how many jobs will there be to maintain and support these two energy sources?  I bet this country losses more “Non-Green Jobs” compared to the “Green Jobs that will replace the “Non-Green” jobs.

So what does that mean for just this one town of Santa Paula, CA?

One would guess there will be a lot less petroleum jobs in the Santa Paula area this further destroying the economy in this area.

What about farming and agriculture? It may be to expensive for these farms to stay open because  of the cost of energy and subsequent taxes that are imposed. This of course will lead to further job loss in the United States.

Where will we get our farm food?  It is looking like now the US may loose out dependency on foreign out but it may dramatically increase for foreign food.

I saw a clip from C-Span that I cannot find yet. When I do I will post it.

The clip was Nancy Pelosie  just bantering while selling the “CAP and TAX” bill in congress. She said something to the effect of “Basically this bill is about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.”

What she failed to say was Job’s for Americans. She is right.  Jobs, Jobs, Jobs for foreign countries as businesses leave this country if this H.R 2454 AKA the “CAP AND TAX” bill passes the Senate.

Please call, email or write to your senator and tell him or her not to pass this socially destructive H. R. 2454

California, The Unions, Education and The Democratic Party: Catalyst for Tea Parties on July 4th 2009. May 23, 2009

The events that are unfolding in California today (5/23/09) are unprecedented and will affect every state in The United States of America. The people have spoken and they have said “NO MORE NEW TAXES” A catalyst for a perfect storm on Tea Party Day July 4th, 2009.

What has transpired over the years in California that I have been in here (1980) is nothing less than tragic.

I moved to a state that was relatively easy to get a job if you really wanted one. If you didn’t want to work and wanted to be on welfare it was a lot more difficult to accomplish that goal.

California was led by the Democratic party from a land of sunshine, plenty of work and an occasional earthquake to a land of excruciating high taxes, huge numbers of illegal immigrants, easy welfare accommodations for anyone, strong control by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) and radically powerful, strong unions that have crippled the work force with a total disregard or understanding of how the economy works.  Every day now there are protests in the streets by these unions demanding that their particular financial interests should be continually supported by the California government that is fiscally broken. They fail to see that the economy in California has completely collapsed.

Due to the Democratic mantra of  “Tax and Spend” California has become the most unfriendly environment for both small and large businesses to flourish in. Consequently a lot of businesses have closed or have left California for other states and more than likely other countries.

An example of this is when Lockeed closed down it’s Burbank facilities instantly putting 15,000 people out of work.  That is the figure just for Lockeed. It doesn’t address all the subcontractors for small parts and materials that went into the building of the aircraft in that facility.

Another example of that is the General Motors Plant in Van Nuys, CA.  Built in 1947 and closed in 1992.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Nuys_Assembly

This plant towards the end built some of the worst cars ever assembled by General Motors. The Chevrolet Corvair, Camaro, Nova and Firebird.

While it is true that the plant was old, the property and the location were ideal for GM to build cars specifically for the California market.  With some effort the palnt could have been rebuilt and modified for newer assembly line could have been built. How ever the decision was made to move this assembly plant to Sainte-Thérèse Assembly in Quebec, Canada.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Therese_Assembly

So the issue at hand is jobs. As I have written about in the past, government does not create jobs. private enterprise creates jobs. The Democrats have completely damaged the business environment here in California. In the process of damaging the business environment the Democrats have diminished the tax base dramatically at the same time they have tried to make up for the lack jobs by huge tax rates for the people that still have jobs and businesses that are still open. The squeeze has to end somewhere or sometime and that somewhere and sometime is now.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090522/ap_on_re_us/us_california_day_of_reckoning

I voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA) hoping that he could get the job done.  In the beginning he was doing a great job.  But the Democrats saw his power and popularity as a threat and stone walled his every move and he finally capitulated to the Democrats and agreed to raise State Income Taxes, DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) taxes, and State Sales Tax which is the most destructive tax a legislator could ever raise.  This has exacerbated the crumbling economy here in California.

As long as California is a Democratically controlled state it will never ever regain the grand status that has left us in the late 70’s and the 80’s. The Democratic stranglehold on the State of California will be very hard to break because of two simple facts. 1. The number of business owners that would lobby against the Democrats is dwindling. The number of employees that expect their employers to provide all kind of services for free greatly out number the employers. 2. The number of people that expect the California Government to provide everything for free is in control of who is put in office.

In fact California is so damaged that there is serious discussion about rewriting the California Constitution.  The California Constitution is not broken, the Democratic party that is interpreting the California Constitution is broken.

How is rewriting the California Constitution going to help the people of California get new jobs created by new companies that start and flourish and old companies that expand and grow and hire people?

I’m sure that with the state of California being run by Democrats, the “New and Improved” version of the California Constitution will be so severely flawed and skewed towards the Democratic mantra of “Tax & Spend” that the State of California will just continue to deteriorate at a much greatly increased speed.

Here is the next thing to think about. California has always been on the leading edge of trends that eventually move through out the rest of the states. If the California Constitution gets re-written will the following happen?

1. Will the Democrats in the other 49 states try to rewrite their own states constituion?

2. Will Barack Obama and the Obama Administration try to rewrite the US Constitution making the United States an even greater ‘Land of Entitlement”? Thus creating a land that contains a plethora of welfare available to anyone from the United States or any other country just by asking for it and not proving that an individual really needs welfare funds to begin with?

For some reason in past years there has been a fairly complex and sometimes efficient system of checks and balances between the Democrats and the Republicans.  But all that has changed with the deteriorating economy.

I have a comment about education in California.  I understand and I am in sympathy of what is happening in the schools with the cutbacks and overcrowding.  But here is a question. Do you remember what John Kennedy said” “Ask not what your country can do for you, Rather ask what you can do for your country!” I have to admit for a Democrat he was connected to reality more than any other Democrat or Republican for that matter by saying this.

So here is my point.  When some one decides to have a child, the responsibility of education should be partially funded by the individuals that have children that are being taught in the primarily the K-12 education system.  Junior Colleges and State colleges are already paying tuition. To believe that education can be completely funded by state and local property taxes is absurd.  I believe that the parents of these children should pay something towards enrollment for students.  This tuition payed can only be used in that school that the tuition was payed to.  Not to all the schools in the district. Maybe it is a small amount to subsidize, but it is something that that will help ease the financial burden of the California educational system. Which leads to why I brought up John Kennedy’s famous statement. Not all property tax payers have children in the educational system especially older citizens. Why should the burden of funding people that have children in the system be places on people that are not using the system.  This is not to say that people that do not have children in the education system should not pay anything. That is not what I am saying.  What I’m saying is that the people that do have children in the education system have to pay some kind of a tuition to offset the shrinking tax revenue do to loss of jobs, poorer paying jobs that does not generate high volumes of income tax and of course the number of foreclosure on homes that is diminishing property taxes.  I do not know the numbers exactly but the logic is that the greater majority of people with children are renters and do not pay any property tax yet their children are in the schools.  The amount of property tax on a commercial apartment building doesn’t even come close to paying for all the kids in that building. OK so you ask why doesn’t the landlord pay higher taxes? Well the local county could raise taxes…..but guess what?  You are right.  Rent would go through the roof and people would not be able to afford the apartment that they are renting nor would they have a big enough deposit to move to a different building. In general raising taxes is always a bad thing.

It all goes back to what I believe.

If the Democrats can keep people poor, uneducated, unemployed and desperate they will always have a voter base.

An Open Letter to Michael Moore 5/21/09 May 22, 2009

Mike,

Before you begin your movie on the economy continuing to bash George W you should read these two pages from the Federal Register.

http://bulk.resource.org/gpo.gov/register/2005/2005_10024.pdf

And

http://bulk.resource.org/gpo.gov/register/2005/2005_10025.pdf

Section C & D

This will explain to you the kindling point when in 1997 Bill Clinton expanded Jimmy Carter’s 1977 Community Reinvestment Act. (60 FR 22156–57)

In a nut shell, Bill Clinton mandated that banks make loans a lot easier for people that could not afford homes so that they could buy them anyway.  The usual Socialist Democrat “Creating a land of Entitlement.”

You may also want to read my Blog.

https://stmarie.wordpress.com/2008/09/29/everyday-we-learn-more-about-the-community-reinvestment-act-of-1977/

You will notice that I wrote this entry on September 29, 2008.

You will also notice that almost everything that I predicted about Barack Obama came to be true including the relentless blaming of George W. for all the problems with the economy when it was really Bill Clinton that started it in 1997. I will admit that George W. did not battle hard enough against the Democrats in 2004 to prevent the total meltdown of the economy in 2007-2008.

I will bet that you will mention absolutely nothing about what Bill Clinton did in your movie and if you do it will be one line with no coverage of his blunder at all.

This act that Bill Clinton did was swept under the carpet and never mentioned on any news cast including Fox News Network. How did I find out? My cousin sent me the “Burning Down the House” video and I was just so blown away that I spent a month researching it before I wrote my blog. When I got to the mandate in the Federal Register I knew that it had really happened and the rest of the puzzle could be put together by a 12 year old.

This is how it plays out. If Bill Clinton had never expanded the CRA in 1997 and mandated that banks write loans to people that could never afford a home to begin with, The banks would have continued to write safe and secure traditional 30 year loans instead of using creative lending practices like 5/25, 2/28, no down payment, Interest only loans etc. The deregulation opened doors to predatory lenders that took advantage of a very dysfunctional, bad law. None of that would have happened and our economy would not be in the condition that it is in today with Barack Obama making worse and worse every day he speaks.

I hope you are intelligent to see this chain of events and now the Socialist/Democratic way of handling the economy will fail just like it did in 1997 with Bill Clinton except a lot worse. We are looking down the barrel of huge taxes, very high interests rates to combat inflation that will be created by printing all this money that doesn’t exist today and 13% to 15% unemployment.  You can’t create jobs with high taxes and excruciating regulations on business. Businesses will not grow or even start to employ people until taxes come way down and restrictions are lifted on corporations to grown and reduce unemployment.

Today Barack Obama continues to use the “Community Reinvestment” theme that failed so miserably in the past.

I hope you are intelligent enough to do your own research and find out more about this.

Thank you,

STMARIE
P. S Nancy Pelosi want to investigate the Bush administration for war crimes, yet she does not want to investigate Bill Clinton for dereliction of duty and crimes against the US economy by providing a mandate that facilitated the destruction of the credibility of the US banking system that eventually spread though out the world.
