2012 Election Information

Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin for President and Vice President for 2012 November 7, 2008

I am officially kicking off the 2012 election season.  It starts today.

I am officially nominating Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin for President and Vice President in 2012.

The reason that I started this post is that if in four years my life is either the same or better, I have to question what freedoms, rights and privileges did I have to give up in order to maintain that status and was it worth it?  Or could have I settled for less money and a much better state of mind in being confident that I have made the new and better choice for Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin?

Mitt Romney was my very first choice when the campaign for GOP candidate first started.  I was really bummed out when Mitt dropped out of the race.  I was so pissed that the media lampooned him for being a Mormon. That was the most unprofessional response that the media could have ever presented.  When I look back, I realize that same argument was presented against John Kennedy because he was Catholic.  How ever because the media in general is so biased in favor of a liberal, John Kennedy was elected as the 35th president of the United States anyway.

Mitt Romeny has the business experience that would have put this country on the right track to create jobs and encourage small business owners both present and future to achieve their dreams and success with out fear of crippling taxes and regulation.

So we had a choice at one time of a person that had served his country and was a very, very strong American Patriot and that had military experience. That being John Mc Cain.

A good solid business person that would have been fair to tax payers by keeping taxes low and maybe eliminating some taxes altogether.  That being Mitt Romney.

And a person with no business, military or any other kind of experience other than being a well choreographed orator. That being Barack Obama.

Do you think America made the right choice electing Barack Obama on emotion rather than substance?

Now about Sahara Palin. My gut reaction about Sarah is that I am not really comfortable with her at this time. However. I do see the connection that people had with her and I do believe that if she keeps her head in Washington DC, she is a fast learner and without doubt Sarah has “Balls of Iron.” I believe that In four year she will be more than ready for the Vice-Presidency. I want to believe that this is not the last we have heard of Sarah and she will become again a house hold name in the homes of America.

Again I was disappointed that the pro Obama media “Dan Quayle’d” Sarah Palin.  There is a huge differance between Dan Qualye and Sarah Palin and that is that Dan Quayle deserved to be “Dan Quayle’d” and Sarah Palin did not.

I think in the future the person most deserving of being “Dan Quayle’d” is Joe Biden.  So far he has said some pretty dumb things.  Seeing as how Barack Obama may be off limits for comedians and satirical subjects because he is Afro American, (enter Al Sharpton) I think Joe Biden may become the focus of all comedy and satire.

I started a couple of polls that I will leave up and keep running over the months to see what results are. I have it set so you can only vote once. So if you have already voted you can leave a comment if you have changed your mind since  you last voted. As always, this is in no way a scientific poll as it is not run by a million dollar polling organization that has the same credibility as the polls listed below.

Have fun and I hope you participate.  Also, please leave a comment as to whether you think the topic of this post should be an entire new and separate blog.

Thanks for all your participation so far.
