Today is the saddest day in the history of the United States. Again Barack Obama has driven yet another nail in the coffin containing manufacturing in the United States. Cap and Tax will artificially and dramatically drive up the cost of energy in the United States. This is yet another artificial manipulation of the free market as we know it. I have been writing about Bill Clinton’s 1997 expansion of Jimmy Carter’s 1977 Community Reinvestment Act. When Bill Clinton mandated this, it artificially infused millions of unqualified home owners into the home buying market. You can see today what that did to our economy.
Barack Obama’s Cap and Tax will artificially affect the supply and demand of energy, energy prices, taxes and the newly created “Energy Credits.”
Let’s face it. There are some manufacturing processes that require a lot of electricity, less than green chemical ingredients, and will use more “Energy Credits” than allocated to that company. The amount of ”Energy Credits” that some politician that does not have a degree in chemistry or an MBA will determine that company will have.
So what happens here?’
Well the very first thing that comes to mind is this video of Barack Obama.
OK so now that this CAP and TAX has passed the house but not the senate. How will this affect the coal industry and the coal mines? Well I wrote about this topic on November 3, 2008.
This bill is so convoluted and complicated it is almost incomprehensible by the average home or business owner.
Also reading this it will require a huge amount of federal employees to enforce the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 H.R. 2454. Just a huge waste of tax payer dollars that will benefit the politicians way more than either the environment or the owners of businesses, residential houses, or factories.
OK so let’s all read this and see if you can make an “INTELLIGENT” decision on passing this tax assuming you know all the fact, figures, demographics of impact, caluculations of real results in say two years.

So what is this? Well it is an invasion of privacy. In a nut shell you will have to have your home inspected, probed, prodded and exposed to see if it meets Resnet specifications within 5 years of this act being passed.
There are three things I cannot determine here.
1. Is there is going to be a fine or legal proceedings if you do not get your house inspected?
2. Will you have to have your house inspected and brought up to RESNET certification before it is sold?
3. Will there be an “Energy Tax, Fine, or Penalty” imposed until the house in question is upgraded to meet either additional federal standards that have not been written yet or to RESNET specifications?
It is obvious by these AOL polls that the majority of people do not want this bill to pass.

Here is an update to an AOL Poll from 6/26/09 It still looks like people do not want a Cap and Tax Law. It appears that the Democratic party is not carrying out the will of the people. Rather the Democrats are executing their own agenda regardless of what the people want that voted for them in the first place.
It becomes very obvious that even with this small sample that the public has no desire to have this really bad legislation forced down their throats. In future days I will update this with new results of more votersof this poll until it drops off.

So lets look at all the things that this will affect. Basically any industry that uses electricity, coal or fossil fuel such as gasoline, diesel, or natural gas. Hmm it seems that every company and citizen will be affected by this “CAP AND TAX” legislation. It would appear that H. R. 2454 will create financial chaos in this country.
One of the things that it will create are “Energy Credits.” The question is who will control, disperse and manage the “Evergy Credits”?
1. Will it be Wall Street? Will “Energy Credits” be a commodity that is bought and sold on the commodities market?
This could be problematic as we have seen with Crude Oil and the buying and selling of Crude Oil futures by speculative investors based on Supply and Demand. This could have a significant impact on the cost of running a business and the everyday lives of US citizens.
2, Will it be a huge socialist government bureaucracy that will practice “Pay to Play” tactics to control “Energy Credits” by legal taxes and illegal political contributions. We all know how this game is played. The more money you put in the socialist government coffers, the more “Extra” “Energy Credits” you are allowed for your business or special interest group like for example the UAW for American and American automobile manufacturers only.
The truth is that no one on the face of the earth can guess how much more this is going to cost the tax payer, business owner or anyone else in this country.
Yesterday I took a little drive and I ended up in Santa Paula, CA I parked my car, and began to look around at the demographics of what I saw on the street. This town is predominately Hispanic that votes for the socialist democrats based on the promise of Amnesty and the growth of the Farm Workers Union. In general these people are of low income and are having a tough time paying daily bills. If ”CAP and TAX” passes these are the people that will be affected the most with increased costs on electricity, food and gasoline for their cars to get to and from work. This may be exacerbated by job loss when companies shutter their doors as cost of doing business forces the owners to either shut down and move their businesses off shore. In the case of the farmers, instead of growing food they may turn to importing food instead.
As for the petroleum industry, they hands are tied as they are now and will not be allowed to drill for more crude oil as this will, in the eyes of the democrats, “Contribute to Global Warming.” So this industry may run into problems as they will not be able to afford to pay for “Energy Credits” and pass the costs down to the consumer.
Remember petroleum is not just about heating oil (yet another discussion on the effects of H. R. 2454 on the economy), gasoline, diesel fuel (trucking and rail industry), and Jet A fuel (Airlines) it is about plastics (Did you think about that?) also. These are all things that will be sharply affected by H. R. 2454. Do you now see how damaging this “CAP and TAX” bill will be?
Santa Paula, California has two basic industries: Farming agriculture and petroleum.
Farming uses a lot of fossil fuel for trucks, tractors and farming equipment in general. My next thought was that solar, electric or wind power can not be used for the aforementioned vehicles. Battery powered electric trucks, tractors, cultivators, generators and irrigation pumps. How can you possibly make this green? OK maybe Natural Compressed Gas (NCG) but it is way more dangerous and difficult to transport as it always has to me in high pressure tanks.
Farming also uses a lot of electricity in packing and processing. Lot’s of refrigeration for freshness and freezing foods.
So what happens to food prices if these farming and food processing companies exceed their “Energy Caps”?
These companies will have to buy addition energy credits if the processing plants do not become solar or wind powered.
Solution? Nuclear powered food packing plants. Hmm. Now that sounds safe.
Now let’s look at petroleum.
The argument for “CAP and TAX” is to create new jobs and eliminate out dependance on foreign oil.
So if petroleum is a bad thing because of carbon pollution and the utopian goal is to eliminate it all together then what happens to the petroleum industry in Santa Paula. CA? How many jobs will be lost because the Dictatorship of the Proletariat deemed that the petroleum industry was bad for the earth?
So once the windmills are built and the solar panel farms are built. Just how many jobs will there be to maintain and support these two energy sources? I bet this country losses more “Non-Green Jobs” compared to the “Green Jobs that will replace the “Non-Green” jobs.
So what does that mean for just this one town of Santa Paula, CA?
One would guess there will be a lot less petroleum jobs in the Santa Paula area this further destroying the economy in this area.
What about farming and agriculture? It may be to expensive for these farms to stay open because of the cost of energy and subsequent taxes that are imposed. This of course will lead to further job loss in the United States.
Where will we get our farm food? It is looking like now the US may loose out dependency on foreign out but it may dramatically increase for foreign food.

The clip was Nancy Pelosie just bantering while selling the “CAP and TAX” bill in congress. She said something to the effect of “Basically this bill is about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.”
What she failed to say was Job’s for Americans. She is right. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs for foreign countries as businesses leave this country if this H.R 2454 AKA the “CAP AND TAX” bill passes the Senate.

I haven’t been posting lately as everyday Barack Obama, Timothy Franz Geithner, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Franks, Harry Reid or Chris Dodd say something utterly stupid or even contrary to what each other is saying.
However now Barack Obama is dissing the People of the United States. This man has no conscience to even think about what is on the TelePrompTer in front of him.. He just reads and reads and has no idea what he is really saying.
He insulted me and called me arrogant. That really really pisses me off. He is by far the dumbest hammer in the box.
I can’t believe that people actually voted for him and sleep well at night knowing what they did. I am just so disgusted in the man. So far Barack Obama has done only a few things right.
1. Not raising the federal gas tax,
2. Not reinstating the Fairness Doctrine.
3. Recognizing that we have a very severe problem at the southern border. Although he has yes to take any action to help control the problems down there.
The number of things that he has done wrong to splinter the country are far to numerous to even begin listing here. However there is one. Now that GM has changed the name from General Motors to Government Motors and Barack Obama has fired Rick Wagoner, I can hardly wait to hear what kind of cars Barack Obama is going to mandate that Government Motors produces. I see a very very sad ending to this saga. If we had just let GM go into chapter 11, In 24 months, after the courts are finished, GM would be a leaner meaner machine and it would be strong again. But instead Barack Obama is giving GM a cane, a wheel chair and a gurney to Limp forward in to the coming years. I personally don’t see GM surviving under government control. If you question this at all, Just let me know about all the pleasant experiences you ever had at the DMV.
If he is smart and I know he isn’t, he should decline appearing at Notre Dame and call it a day.

Why is it that you and I the taxpayer do not have enough money or credit to go to the GM , Ford, Chrysler, Honda or Toyota dealer to buy a new car? Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Franks et al are the new political criminals in our society. As they bask in the sun of jamming the largest spending bill down the throats of the US citizens without even giving the citizens a chance to vote or comment on it, we begin to see the damages that are now occurring especially on Wall Street. For years people have been self sufficient in their savings for the future. Now all of that has been wiped out and the new Socialist Party (the Democrats) have now made us totally dependent on the US Government with threats of government controlled national banking system. Just think, Barack Obama and his fellow thieves will be able to go into your account at any time and demand fees, taxes, assessments, surcharges or anything else they decide to take from your account. Just think of your phone bill with all those government unjustified mandated charges. Your bank account will look just like that.
Just like his predecessor, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama has sent a mandate to spend 75 Million dollars to force lending institutions to write loans to people that should have never had a loan to begin with. Again Barack Obama is creating a land of “Entitlement” rewarding non-responsible people with tax money provided by hard working Tax Payers that make their home loans on time.
Again I have to keep going back to what Bill Clinton did in 1997.
This is where Bill Clinton made a similar mandate for lending institutions to write loans bases on quantity instead of quality.
There is one huge difference between what Barack Obama is doing and what Bill Clinton did.
Bill Clinton mandated the law gambling with investors money i.e. people that had stocks and other savings in various institutions.
Barack Obama is gambling with every tax payer’s money and the huge taxes that will need to be collected in the future from the children that are now growing up. Barack Obama has made it very difficult for the children in the future to be self sufficient in savings and investments as they will be paying back a very high rate in taxes back to not only the US Government but to local State Governments also.
So now lets look at what is happening here in California where I live. Yesterday the California government finally created a budget for the future and besides spending cuts (Which I give Kudos to the Socialist Party for doing) it also levied $12 Billion Dollars in tax hikes. We now have the highest sales tax in all of the states, DMV taxes have doubled, and there is an undetermined increase in State Income Taxes that the Socialist Party forced upon the citizens in California.
So what does that mean to us here in California. Well, because any TAX CUTS the Federal Socialists gave us in California, the State Socialists are taking back. So in a nut shell Californians gained nothing. Even though California is in line for millions of federal tax payers money in the “State Bailouts.” I imagine this will happen in a lot of other states as California usually sets a lot of precedents for what other states do.
The Socialists are just making it worse and worse every day. Today we are experiencing a 6 year low in all the markets and what is worse banks are on the point of collapse from fears of being nationalized. This my friends would be the end of the Free Market that we here in the United States have enjoyed for over 200 years.
After reading the results of this last survey you put out about the “Spendulus” package I am just appalled buy the number of people that are so uneducated as to believe Barack Obama’s “Fear Mongering” about the doomed economy. What Bill Clinton mandated the expansion of Jimmy Carter’s Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 in 1979, that was the catalyst that spurred banks and lending institutions to write more loans and meet the quotas that were to be kept score in #10025 above. This forced banks and lending institutions to figure out a way to write more loans to financially challenged people that could not qualify for a traditional 30 year loan. Thus the birth of “Creative Financing” aka “the sub prime loan.” What Tim Geithner is proposing to do is also force banks to write loans that they are not comfortable with. Congressman Schiff let me set up a scenario for you. Imagine you were an underwriter for home loans for any institution. Before you there was a pile of home loans for you to asses the risk management for. Mean while on the radio you have Barack Obama absolutely hammering away all day long making speeches that if “HIS” spending package doesn’t get passed very very bad things in our economy are going to get worse and last longer. In the past few months our country has deteriorated to almost the same level as the Great Economic Crash of 1929. The collapse of our economy is a well orchestrated plan by the Democratic Party to completely destroy any other party representing the American people in modern day politics, Thus making the United States a one party Socialist country. The American people have voted and they have chosen a person to be president of the United States based mostly on the color of his skin. The American people have thrown aside any questions about qualifications or ulterior motives of the person they have put into office. The country is so caught up in Obama merchandising of commemorative pins, coins, songs, banners, comic books, bobbles, SWAG, buttons, banners and other items that are so insignificant to the problems that lay ahead of us in the near and long term future.
My own story is in the past three days I have found out that I have to come up with $25,000.00 in order to save my house. I am able to do it but it comes at a huge price and that is not spending any money to help grow the economy. This is exactly what I have not wanted to do all my life. I always felt that it was my patriotic duty is to spend money and keep the economy going. I can no longer do that.

The best way for Barack Obama to keep Hillary from running against him in 2012 was to put her in his cabinet. Hillary is not qualified at all to be Secretary of of State. but Hillary’s appointment is a monkey off of Barack Obama’s back. By re-appointing a lot of the same people that contributed to the melt down of the economy during the Clinton era back into power just shows how unqualified Barack Obama really is. If Barack was really going to bring a “New Way of Doing Business In Washington” he would have never brought back anyone that only knows how to run Washington the “OLD WAY.”
Barack Obama has one huge problem on his hands…. no not the economy.. Nancy Pelosi. Out of the “DUMB BOX OF HAMMERS” ( Harry Reid, Barney Franks, Nancy Pelosi et al.) Nancy Pelosi seems to be the dumbest and the most incendiary dumb hammer in the box.

I find it so odd that Nancy Pelosi would attempt to bring criminal charges against the Republican party and not her own Democratic Party Members that were in office in 1997 when the mandates to systematically destroy the economy were put into place.

OK so now you are asking why I will not let this go. Here is the reason. I believe that Bill Clinton instituted the biggest crime against the economy by mandating the 1997 CRA reform act. He pitted the performance of the number of loans serviced in this country against the quality of the loans thus mandating that the institutions write a huge number of loans whether the loans had proper documentation or using creative, often corrupt loan instruments to people that could not qualify or ever pay back the monies owed on the mortgage, credit card or what ever type of credit program that the loan applicant had applied for.
I find it very offensive that the public view George W. Bush as the worst president ever. Ok so he was not the best. But he was not the cornerstone of our now failed economy.
To me, I would have thought that giving todays state of the economy that the following video (not from Fox News Network) would have been the death nail of the Democratic Party representitives that are in office now and at least for the next two years until elections in 2010. This shows the total disregard for the wishes of the American People as these legislators have put their own agenda ahead of what was really necessary for the good of the people of the United States of America.
The award of worst president ever would go to Bill Clinton’s and his adminstration (Barney Franks et al.) for setting up the mandates for greed that eventually took a toll on the stability and the currant collapse of the US Economy that we have today. And when the Bush adminstration called to light the impending disaster in 1993 the Clinton Adminstration (Yes the same people that are in office now.) repeatedly argued that there was no problem with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae. I will never forget or forgive Bill Clinton and his adminstration for this disastrous decision. And what makes matters worse is that this fact was completely pushed under the carpet by everyone and the story has not been revealed to the public in any depth except by one or two stories on Fox New Network.
My point is that the people of this country have elected the political party of entitlement. We are seeing this in the way that Barack Obama is spending money. In addition instead of telling people that things will get better he is telling people things are going to get a lot worse. We know that is true. But why be so pessimistic and drive people to be so dependent on big government.
If this is any indicator of what we have in store for the future it will never get better again for a long time. In one of my earlier blogs I mentioned Rod Blagojevich who is in Barack Obama’s posse of corrupt Chicago politics. What I see in the future is that Barack Obama may…I stress may get involved with “Pay to Play” for the huge government contracts for infrastructure improvement. Maybe that will be Barack Obama’s Achilles heel. Time will tell.
OK on to my next topic. Jobs. Barack Obama says he is going to create 3 million new jobs. My question is jobs for who? If Barack Obama had said I’m going to create 3 millions jobs for American Citizens and not for illegal immigrants, I would be happy. But Barack Obama is not making any provisions like that. So now Barack Obama has turned the green light back on for an explosion of Illegal Immigrants from all over the world especially from south of the border.
OK so we all know that the Unions of this country by and large helped put Barack Obama into power. If Barack Obama empowers unions to get established in more occupations, thus increasing costs of business operation, we will see even more jobs go overseas.
Finally, I want to ask Barack Obama how he is going to pay for the trillions of dollars of entitlement bestowed on the citizens of the United States. He is spending money that does not exist so it has to be printed. Ok so now my dollar will be worth .. oh say .. $0.20. Wow just like any other third world nation. How about that?
Who is going to pay back the trillions of dollars you are spending Barack Obama? The only real source there is are the Baby Boomers. And they will be fading to black soon. So who will pay that back and at what rate? 60% Income tax for what is left of the middle class and 80% for 1% of the wealthy that are left in the US?
Thank you Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Franks and Harry Reid for bringing us the next 8 years (Barack Obama will rig it so he gets elected to a second term) of economic and social hell.
Barack is bashing bankers while sticking his hand in their pockets. He is also taking huge amounts of money from lobbyists that he favors.
In a nut shell he has brainwashed both rich and the very poor to BUY his election. Barack Obama has no creditable qualifications other than being a very convincing Marxist Socialist dictator. I am so livid that we are allowing history to repeat it self by permitting a Marxist Dictator to take over this country.
If Brian Williams worked at a fair and balanced news organization then NBC and MSNBC would do a segment about Barack Obama and the “Fleecing of America” But alas NBC and MSNBC are hurting for ratings so they don’t want to do any real reporting on exactly what Barack Obama is doing this great country
Isn’t it obvious that this Barack Obama is not the normal patriotic politician running for the President of the United States. The way he is amassing Power and Money. Doesn’t this seem strange to anyone except me?
This is not a normal election. People have be captured by mob action here. The voting public has no idea why the are voting for Barack Obama except for “I like what he is telling Us.’ Why can’t people see that this is just a boondoggle against humanity.
Something is really really wrong here. I am now more afraid of what the future will bring than right after 9/11. I don’t like it folks and when it comes to judgement of personalities I have not been wrong more than a couple of times in my life.
Just listen to the demeanor in his voice. This is the demeanor of a dictator. Watch a tape of Barack and then watch a tape of any dictator in history. The inflection in his voice. The way he holds his head up to talk down to people.
I think what he is doing to John Mc Cain is just criminal. Before the in the primaries Barack Obama promised to stick to campaign spending limits. That money comes from the $1.00 check box on your IRS form that uses that money for campaign spending for the candidates in the final weeks.
Well, Barack Obama was just lying. He had no intention of keeping that promise. That was the very, very first blatant lie that he told the public. My friends that was the first red flag that was thrown in my face to start to see that Barack Obama is a lier and has no intetntion of keeping any of the promises that he has made.
Once he gets in control, Between Barack Obama and a very, very nasty person named Nancy Pelosi the economy will just crumble under the weight of taxes. Small and large businesses will never stand a chance.
Dark days are ahead for us unless Barack Obama is defeated along with the Marxist Socialist one party rule that this country will capitulate to.
